Contorto, Italian for twisted, is the DJ duo of cRAIG mITCHELL and the LEGENDARY house dj/producer, Manny Ward. Debuted as a duo during the 2009 WMC at TWIST in South Beach, Craig and Manny have proven time and time again that Contorto a force to be reckoned with. " QUEENIE" is no exception. Their first collaboration (pre-Contorto) was "TRIBAL ZONE" and it was only a matter of time before they came with another floor filler.
Being that Miami was the birthplace of the duo, it was only fitting that Miami's Alan T, one of the most recognizable voices, spin this classic club vocal in HIS own special way. Papaya anyone?
Industrial band, Ehtyl Meatplow, originally released "Queenie" in 1992 and they set the club scene on fire with the songs edgy and in your face lyrics. They took the “c” word and made it sexy and fun, and this new take on it is no exception.
With remixes from Midnight Society and John Spinosa, along with forthcoming mixes from cRAIG mITCHELL and more, Contorto's "Queenie" will surely be setting dancefloors afire with this lyric all over again.
