Trend Influence is seeking a content manager for the Ministry of Sound USA and Umix.Net websites. If interested, please take a minute to review all of the information below before contacting us.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage content for the Ministry of Sound USA and Umix.Net websites
Explore America for latest news, festivals, performing artists and recording artists
Content will be used on the main page, music tab, events tab, news tab, galleries of the MoS site
Pertinent event and venue content must be researched and updated on the Umix.Net website
All content must be relevant and portray the lifestyle of the Ministry of Sound customer in America
Be creative: surprise and delight, be reliably unpredictable, think young and brave, edgy and urban
Provide input as to how we can promote and shape the site to garner more unique visitors
Available to work a minimum of 10 - 20 hours a week (this may increase as the project matures).
Work closely with existing production manager to update the site using Microsoft Content Management system.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Passion for dance music and a desire to work within this culture.
Excellent writing skills.
You must be able to write objectively on all styles of music and aspects of the American dance music lifestyle culture
Must avoid writing in a cheesy, hyper-excited style
In depth knowledge of the various styles of dance music (house, trance, progressive, techno, breaks, jungle, d-n-b and downtempo), the subcategories of each and their subtle nuances.
Knowledge of Microsoft Content Management system a plus but not required.
Existing contacts within dance community a plus but not required.
Strong interpersonal skills. Ability work on your own and as part of the Trend Influence team.
You will interact with all levels from CEO downward.
Ideal candidate would be located in Atlanta but all applicants with a high speed internet connection will be considered in any market.
