The Blak Beatnik 'Change' PCDMS021

Click here for TRAXSOURCE UPFRONT PROMO ...and soon on BEATPORT, DANCETRACKS, JUNO...
Vinyl in stores December 7th

A new contribution to the ProgCity Deep family comes from Chicago‘s producer, songwriter & Melodious Recordings label owner Harold E. Matthews Jr. aka Big Ed aka The Blak Beatnik. Not affected by any hypes, his typical deep soulful US house has already been featured on labels like Large Music, Tony Records or Slip‘n‘Slide... only to name a few.

Change is not only showing his great production skills but also Big Ed‘s lovely warm voice. The Remixes on this Package come from Samir Maslo, who recently earned big attention for his remix of Sergio Flores‘ Hold On (That Piano Track) on Purple Music, rounded up with another blissful and timeless mix by GOGO Music‘s head honcho Ralf Gum. Newcomer Bernardo Garcia and ProgCity Deep‘s label owner Deep K! feature their very own unique interpretations, both in a way that‘s not easy to describe. Just listen to all of them and enjoy how varied this deep house sound can be.

Change already got some real big attention at Amsterdam‘s Dance Event and none other than Andy Ward and Deli-G featured it as outstanding tracks in their radio shows, as well as Jamie Lewis, Marlon D, Boddhi Satva, Antonio Ocasio, Tyree Cooper, Danny Marquez and Sergio Flores who play the track on high rotation.
