We are very happy to announce the release of our first compilation, presenting two true luminaries of underground dance music, Ron Trent & Jerome Sydenham. Over two discs, V.01 showcases the best in fad free, quality deep house, rooted in the US tradition of Soul, Disco, Jazz and beyond, married to more European and electronic influences.
As most of you will know Ron has supported our parties and been a close friend from the beginning of the N2S story. So of course we were delighted to invite him to be the first to make a long play recording embodying the Need2Soul journey. Jerome played an outstanding set for us last October and it clicked immediately that his style fitted with what we had in mind for the comp. He certainly knows his stuff, and his deep and techier sound compliments Ron's more eclectic selection, both gliding between rough and smooth, light and dark.
