Hey soul brothers and sisters,
We would like to welcome you to another SoulMates celebration on Thursday the 7th of April, 9pm-3am, at the AKA bar, next to the End, 18 West Central Street, WC1 1JJ, between Holborn tube and Tottenham Court Rd tube.
Entrance fee: £5. £3 concession.
This night is quite a special occasion as this is DJ Rap Saunders birthday. We're celebrating this with putting the man himself behind the decks for an exclusive 3 hour set. For those who didn't know, Rap Saunders is, except for being a resident and promoter of club SoulMates, also one of the front figure of legendary Black Market since many years back and in charge of the new label Bingo Soul Records. He has been spinning soulful underground house records since 1988 and has developed a very personal style to become one of the best djs in the scene.
The night will be supported by your usual suspects: Saint Sebastian and Dennis Christensen supported by miss Joy on percussion and Dreadfunkie plus friends on the mic.
Hopefully we'll see you down there in the best of spirits with your dancing shoes on...
