Do you want to be a promoter?
Do you love clubbing?
Do you like being able to put your friends on guest lists?
If the answer is yes to the above you may be a good candidate for the Defected
promotion team.
Defected records are looking for individuals who are interested in learning
about club promotion. We are in the process of building a small promotions team
to work on our In The House monthly events at the Ministry of Sound. You need to
be interested in clubbing, love dance music and have a very social character.
You also need to live within travelling distance of the centre of London,
preferably within the M25.
This is what you will need to do.
1) Place flyers in your local area. Shops/College/Bars.
2) Place posters in record shops/colleges and bars in your local area.
3) Attend a meeting once a month at the Defected offices.
4) Generate guestlists for the event once a month through your own contacts and personal databases.
5) Compile your own email database of people who like to go clubbing.
6) To help out at the club if needs be.
The objective of this is to encourage people who are serious about promoting to
have hands on experience contributing to a big club. What you will get out of
this experience is directly related to what you put in. You will contribute
directly to the clubnight and will get to know how a club is run.
Ideally you will be between 18 - 25 years old (although there are no fixed
rules). This would suit students or young professionals interested in clubbing.
This will not impact on your normal day role whether work or study and you can
contribute a little or as much time as you please, there are no fixed time
limits.
This is not a permanent position but something that you can do in your spare
time.
This position will not make you rich! You will get remunerated but this will not
put you in the top income bracket! We will sort you out with promo's and albums
as well.
